It all started with excitement and fun until midnight when everything turned for the worse.
First it was Kaelani who was sick and threw up and then Tuula followed but didn't stop throwing up till 6 o'clock in the morning. Poor girls got food poisoning from dinner. We stopped at a pizza place in town before heading to the camper cabin. The girls were so good about the whole ordeal. The next day Tuula became herself after nap time. Kaelani was very worn out didn't really fully recover until the next when we got home. We decided to cut the trip short and went home a day early. Mike and I were impressed how well they handled it.
After being up all night we had the girls go out and get some fresh air.
Kaelani pretty much just wanted to sit in the snow. Poor girl was still out of it.
Tuula and I took a small hike to see if we could see eagles while Mike packed and Kaelani rested.
We heard coyotes howling but no eagles.
